Position Location

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Provide technical support to customers both in person and over the phone
- Provide technical support to sales staff
- Manage, lead, inspect, and perform installations projects
- Write and edit technical papers and manuals
- To lead meetings and present in front of a group
- To provide classroom style or hands on training
Qualifications Required
- Technical degree or Military training in computers or electronics
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office & Visio
- Good communication and technical writing skills
- Capable of generating and/or working from electrical schematics
- Understanding/working knowledge of Energy Management Systems and/or controls
- Familiarity with standard electrical installation practices and NEC a plus
- A “customer focus” attitude
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Must be willing to Travel

Responsibilities
- Architect software solutions for complex high volume data environments
- Design, develop and implement software utilizing various network protocols
- Develop containerized microservices using Java/Python
- Collaborate with software development team to fix and improve existing applications
- Monitor and assess current system performance

Minimum Qualifications

- RESTful services

- Experience working with JSON APIs

We are looking for a full-time Senior React Developer to build high-performance, logic-intensive, web-based enterprise software. Qualified candidates will work with project managers, applications, hardware & software engineers on designing, specifying, programming and integrating new and existing building management systems. Candidate will also work with technical support & monitoring personnel on ongoing troubleshooting and support. Typically work will occur during normal business hours, however based on a project-to-project basis some after-hours work may be required. Candidates should anticipate that a portion of the time will require travel to customer locations throughout North America.
Responsibilities include
- Specification and design of building management systems based on project requirements
- Configuration and programming of control logic
- Design and commissioning of building control system & layouts within controls software
- Troubleshooting and support of control configuration (new & legacy systems), mechanical, electrical and other controlled equipment
- Development of quotes & proposals, and assistance in developing responses to prospect RFP’s
- Development & documentation of functional specifications
- Consulting with internal team & customers on best practices and optimization strategies
- Site commissioning and installation
- Performing other duties as assigned by Project Manager
- On-call service / support for existing installations
- Experience working with Delta Controls, JCI, Andover, and Tridium based BMS systems
Additional Skills
- Expert knowledge in mechanical systems, control logic & sequencing
- Aptitude for programming and scripting
- Expert knowledge in BMS protocols including: BACnet, Modbus, Lonworks, Niagara
- Familiarity with IT / Networking and SNMP
- Ability to read drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication skills. Comfortable in front of a customer.
- Prefer a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Design, Automation or similar
